MANNING, Frederick Samuel (TED), 62 New Glasgow

It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to a great brother. Ted passed away on May 7, 2017 at the Aberdeen Hospital in New Glasgow, after a lengthy illness.

Ted was born June 3, 1955 to the late Art and Thea (Shields) Manning in Truro, Nova Scotia. His broadcasting career began at CKCL in Truro and he went on to work for CFBC, Saint John, CFTR, Toronto, Fundy Cable, Moncton, Eastlink and successfully opened a sound equipment rental business in Truro.

Ted is survived by his sister Gwen Manning; brother Jack Manning; past and present sisters-in law, Susan Manning, Cheryl Langille and Sheryl Manning; cousins John and Barb Shields, Holly and Greg Ferguson, Bruce and Gloria Shields; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
