The death occurred peacefully, surrounded by her family, at Margaret Stewart Ellis Home, O’Leary on Thursday, June 1, 2017 of Stella Margaret Collicutt-Stewart of O’Leary, aged 100 years. Born on December 1, 1916 in Cape Wolfe, daughter of the late Patrick & Annie (Howard) O’Connor. Loving mother to Annie Gallant, O’Leary; Wendell (June) Collicutt, Gravenhurst, O.N.; Kathleen (Cecil) Clements, Burton; Eric (Joanne) Collicutt, Organeville, O.N.; Ronnie (Rita) Collicutt, Cape Wolfe; Gary (Joyce) Collicutt, Hamilton, O.N.; Belinda (Malcolm) Dimelow Peterborough, O.N.; Lowell Collicutt, Kitchener, O.N. and Alma (Miles) Currie, Stratford. Step children Audrey (Lindy) MacDonald, West Point; David (Rhona) Stewart, Sarnia, O.N.; Alma Rix, West Point; Norma (Ronald) MacLeod, Argyle Shore; Pauline (Hakan) Hedberg, Vancouver, B.C.; Donald (Susan) Stewart, West Point; Margaret (John) Sweet, Forest View; Helen (Charlie) McCarthy, Campbellton; Harvey (Carolyn) Stewart, West Point; Jimmy (Pauline) Stewart, Grandfalls- Windsor, N.F. Beloved grandmother to 42 grandchildren, 30 step grandchildren and numerous great and great great grandchilden. Daughters in law Click Stewart, Charlottetown; Geraldine Stewart, West Point, sons in law Frank Stevens, O’Leary and Leith Bulger, Alberton. Stella was predeceased by her parents,1st husband Edmund Collicutt, 2nd husband Frankie Stewart, daughters Shirley Flett, Marilyn Bulger and Alice Stevens, great grandchild Dustin Clements, stepsons Allan Stewart, John Stewart, daughter in law Jennifer Collicutt and sons in law Bill Flett, Melvin Gallant, Alton (Buzz) Rix Brothers and sister Mary, Joseph, Clem, Lucina, Ann, Hortance and Francis. Resting at Ferguson Funeral and Chapel, O’Leary with visiting hours on Monday, from 6-9 p.m. and until Tuesday at 9:45 a.m., then to St. Mark’s Roman Catholic Church, Burton Lot 7 for funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment later in the Parish Cemetery. In memory of Stella, memorials to St. Mark’s Roman Catholic Cemetery would be appreciated. www.fergusonsfh.com
