Walter “Wally” Zarry
Sept. 3, 1928 – May 30, 2017

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Wally the morning of May 30, 2017. Wally was born in Saskatoon and spent his early years in Fish Creek and Alvena then , with his parents, moved to Wierdale.He spent many years working for Saan Stores then moving and buying the King George Hotel in Weyburn. After retiring and selling the Hotel he took up riding a Harley and put on many miles during the summer and in Palm Springs in the winter. Wally was a member of the Latomina Masonic Lodge and the Weyburn Shrine Club. Wally is survived by his wife Orline and three sons: Ken (Tara), of Saskatoon, Don, of Prince Albert, and Doug of Victoria. Grandchildren: Jordan ( Kat), Steig, Nana and Kenna. Great grandchildren: Matilda, Sachi ,Coco and Emme. Wally was predeceased by his father and mother, Fred and Mary Zarry, infant brother Adam, and brother Dave. A Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 7, at Saskatoon Funeral Home beginning at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be held at the Columbarium in St. John’s Cathedral at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Saskatoon Nephrology Group, 436 Ave R south, Saskatoon Sk. S7M 2Z1 or to the Sask. Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
