Passed peacefully away in the arms of his loving family at the Palliative Care Unit at the L.A. Miller Center on Monday June 5, 2017. Sam Dawe of Upper Gullies aged 82 years. Predeceased by his parents Caroline and Maxwell, Brother Maxwell Dawe, two grandsons Matthew Dawe and Michael Murphy. Leaving to mourn his loving wife of 49 years Bernice (Nee Dawe), daughters Tracy Pittman (Terry), Tina Taylor (Jeff), Terri-Lynn Porter (Mike), son Trevor (Carrie), 6 grandchildren Andrew (Lisa), Tommy, Jacob, Emily, Amelia, Alana, sisters Margie, Betty (Tom), Marie, Sandra, brothers Ernest, William (Cathy) Fred, Ed, brothers-in-law Gerald (Marie) Donald, sister-in-law Josephine Nugent. Also a large number of close family and friends. Visitation in the James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Tuesday, 7 - 9 pm, Wednesday, 10 - 9 pm, Thursday, 10 - 12 noon.
