Shaunticy Nicole Smith – 28, Pleasant Valley. It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our daughter, Shaunticy Nicole Smith on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at home. Born on November 25, 1988, she was the daughter of David Smith and Elaine Hale (formerly Anderson). Step daughter to Carla Brown-Smith and Shawn Hale. She was a loving daughter who cared deeply for her family and friends. Shaunticy had an artistic talent that was demonstrated through her drawing and writing, especially her poetry. She had planned to make use of these talents as a tattoo artist. Shaunticy loved her life to the fullest and always marched to the beat of her own drum. She loved famous quotes and music, but most of all she had a deep love and loyalty to her friends. Shaunticy is gone too soon and there are no words to express the loss that is left by all. She was predeceased by her grandmother, Marina Smith; grandfather, Thomas Anderson and uncle, Desmond Smith. Survived by her parents and step parents, her brother, Hunter Terry, her step sister, Jalisa Brown and various loving grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow St., Truro from where a Celebration of Life Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 13 from 6-8pm.
