The death occurred at the Summerset Manor on Saturday June 10th of Jean-Pierre Gallant formerly of St.Timothy at the age of 97 years and 3 months. He was the son of Arsène Gallant and Madeleine Leclair. Predeceased by his wife Catherine Manning and his brothers and sisters, Zenon, Augustin, Adrien, Albert, Rita and Eileen. He is survived by his sons and daughters : Anne-Marie (Samuel Arseneault), Ronnie (Marie-Claire Gallant), Carolyn (Norman Boudreau) from New Brunswick as well as Rita (Roger Arsenault), Johnny (Louise Gallant) and Gary all of St. Timothy and 17 grand-children and 15 great-grand-children as well as his brothers Cédric and Gérard as well as his sisters-in-law Marion and Yvonne. Visitors will be received at the Evangeline Funeral Home on Monday June 12th from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral mass will be held at Notre-Dame du Mont-Carmel Church at 10:30 on Tuesday June 13th. Interment will take place in the church cemetery. Memorial donations to the Mont-Carmel Parish or to a charity of your choice will be greatly appreciated.
