Kenneth MOLLERUD
January 12, 1941 – June 7, 2017
Kenneth Calvin Mollerud, 76, lived a full life and is now with his loving wife Lois. Ken died Wednesday, June 7, 2017 in Prince Albert following his third bout of cancer.
Growing up in Outlook, the son of Alvin and Lillian Mollerud, he worked on the farm and learned many skills he used to build his home and do carpentry work for friends and family for years to come. Ken met the love of his life Lois, who he married in1961. Ken went on to do surveying work for PFRA in the Outlook area in addition to starting a farming equipment shop. His lifelong career started when he was offered a job in Prince Albert with DNS, later named Sask Water. Ken was a well respected manager with Sask Water and his colleagues knew if they asked Ken to do a job, it was done to perfection. Ken had a close respectful relationship with his Northern communities and will be fondly remembered by all his work colleagues, particularly his ATAP crew.
Ken was an avid golfer but his true love was his family. Ken was always there when you needed him and made sure to attend every sporting event his grandchildren had. Ken had a strong work and family ethics that he has passed onto his children. His loving daughter Darci Climenhaga (Steve), son Doug (Kelly), grandchildren Nicole, Sydney, Samantha, and Joshua, his brother Dan (Carla) and many other close friends and family all have wonderful memories of Ken.
