Jacqueline ‘Jackie’ Maine
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jacqueline "Jackie" Maine, 91, of Springhill. Jackie passed away peacefully with family at her side on Thursday, June 8, 2017.
Born in Springhill, she was a daughter of the Late Fenwick Ira and Annie M. (Trott) McCormick.
Left to mourn is her son, Ronald "Ronnie", Springhill; granddaughters, Chrissy and Lindsay, both of Springhill; great grandson, Jacob; sister, June Jewkes, Amherst; many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her husband Ralph; brothers, William, Daniel and Everett; sisters, Edna, Guruda, Violet, Marjorie, Nevulyn; brother and sister in infancy.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of A H Brown Funeral Home, 5 McFarlane Street, Springhill, (902 597 2361) where cremation has taken place. Jackie has been laid to rest with her husband Ralph in the Hillside Cemetery, Springhill on Monday, June 12, 2017 at 4 pm, with The Rev’d Dr. Brian Spence officiating.
Donations in memory of Jackie may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
The family would like to thank the Doctors and staff of High Crest Nursing Home for all their loving care and attention provided for Jackie.
