William (Bill) Stewart
Sept. 27, 1937 - June 10, 2017

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of William (Bill) Stewart after a brief illness, at the age of 79.
Predeceased by wife Marlene and son Bradley. Left behind to mourn are his daughter Dawn (Rusten), son Brent (Cindy), two grandchildren, Emily and Patrick, brothers, Jim (Judy) Stewart, Bob (Elma) Stewart, sister Vivian Waye, numerous nieces and nephews.
Bill was born Sept 27, 1937 in Spalding Sask. and moved to Vancouver Island in the 60’s, residing in Nanaimo, until his move to Chemanius in 2015. Worked in the dairy industry his entire life, retiring from Island Farms, and was an avid golfer.
Heartfelt thanks to all the Dr’s and staff who cared for dad during his brief illness at Duncan Hospital.
Celebration of life to be held at a later date.
