Passed peacefully away on June 19, 2017, Gertrude Mary Perks, age 104. Leaving to mourn her brother Bill Perks (Gail), niece Ann Rice (Ed Slaney), great-nephew Ted Rice (Elvina), sister-in-law Helen Martin, many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, extended family, friends and staff at St. Patrick's Mercy Home. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road on Wednesday from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass to take place at St. Teresa's Church, Mundy Pond Road on Thursday, June 22, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. with interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Topsail Road. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Patrick's Mercy Home Foundation. A special thank you is extended to the wonderful staff at St. Patrick's Mercy Home for their care over the last 10 years.
