LLOYD REGINALD JANES
May 27, 1945 – June 24, 2017

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Lloyd Reginald Janes announces his passing on Saturday, June 24, 2017 at his home in Woodville at the age of 72 years. Lloyd was the son of the late William and Theresa Janes. He was predeceased by his brother Gordon, sisters in law; Beulah (Harry) Youden, Sharon Sheppard and brother in law Eric. Leaving to mourn with many fond and precious memories loving and devoted Wife Linda (nee Sheppard) of 50 years. Children; Glenn (Tina) Woodville, Cathy (Tony) Davis Mansfield ON, Barry of Woodville and Darren (Christine) of Shelburn ON. Lloyd will forever remain in the hearts of his grandchildren; Cody, Nicole, Kyle, Tiffany, Craig, Zachary, Bree and adopted granddaughter Jessika, great grandchildren; Kyra and Ella, sisters; Myrtle (Gordon) Hill Calgary AB, Catherine (Bill) Ryan, Shirley (Joe) Ryan, Rowena (Lee) Sheppard all of Woodville. Brothers in law; Moses Sheppard Thunder Bay ON, George (Jacqueline) Sheppard, Rick (Michelle) Sheppard all of Lark Harbour NL and a large circle of nieces, nephews and many friends. The family wishes to thank all family and friends that assisted with their loving care of Lloyd during his illness. In keeping with Lloyd's wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be no formal visitation, a private family service will take place Tuesday, June 27, 2 pm at East Haven Funeral Home, 57 Grand Bay Road, Port aux Basques, internment will follow at a later date. In Lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Lloyd can be made to Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Codroy or to the charity of one's choice.
