Passed away on June 21st, 2017 at the Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital in St. Anthony at the age of 80 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Elsie; brothers Eric (Ann), Eli, Wallace (Rita) and Terry (Donna); sister Hepsy; brother-in-law Kevin Samson; sister-in-law Barbara Brown; special nieces Sara and Stephanie; nephew Stephen as well as a wide circle of family in friends. He was predeceased by his parents Jacob and Sarah Fanny Cunard; brothers Isaac and Hubert; and sisters Matilda, Elizabeth and Maryann. Visitation took place at the Church of the Advent Anglican Church in Plum Point from where the funeral took place on Saturday, June 24th, 2017 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Jennifer Renouf officiating. Interment followed in the Brig Bay Anglican cemetery. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Homes, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Siobhan Ebukwe, funeral director.
