John S MacLean
MacLean John S ‘Telfon John’ retired Master Corporal of the Canadian Armed Forces, formerly of Coxheath, NS, passed away suddenly at his residence in Trenton, Ontario on January 25, 2017 at 56 years of age.
John S graduated from Riverview Rural High School and then went on to pursue a career in the military.
He was predeceased by his parents, John S and Marjorie (Anderson) MacLean, and his brother, David.
Loving father of David (Jen), Middleton, NS, Alexander and Emily, Montreal, QC, and grandfather to DJ; beloved brother to Isabel ‘Issie’; brother-in-law to the late Wayne MacPherson, and uncle to Matthew, John and Peter.
John will be lovingly remembered by Lyne Plante; his many nieces and nephews and anyone and everyone that knew him. “The whole kit ‘n caboodle.”
John will be remembered for his kind ways, his knack of making everyone feel special and his ability to tell a good story.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on July 8, 2017 at T.W. Curry Parkview Chapel with Rev. Dennis Lamey officiating. Inurnment will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Sydney Forks.
