Lily passed away peacefully July 6, 2017 at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital in St. John's, at the age of 87 years. Lily was the daughter of Myra and Garland Greening of Musgravetown, Bonavista Bay. The generosity and caring that Lily showered upon her many friends and family will be truly missed. Lily was predeceased by her son Dean; husband Reginald and brother Edison. Leaving to mourn are her sons Derek and Randy; sister Dora (Yetman); daughter-in-law Anne and grandchildren Christopher and Emma. Visitation for friends and family will take place at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, on Sunday, July 9, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will take place Monday, July 10, 2017 at 2 pm from the Carnell Memorial Chapel. Donations in memory of Lily, may be made to the SPCA of St. John's or charity of your choice.
