Adrice Boudreau of Haute Aboujagane passed away peacefully with his family by his side, at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont University Centre, Moncton on Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at the age of 81 years. Born in Haute Aboujagane, May 1, 1929, he was the son of the late Aimé and Justine (Landry) Boudreau. Adrice was the proud proprietor of Adrice Boudreau Electrical Ltd. for 40 years. He is survived by a daughter Ginette Richard (Maurice) of Haute Aboujagane, three sons: Jean (Anne) of Haute Aboujagane, Michel (Stacey) and Dr. Rhéal (Cindy) both of Dieppe; a sister, Louisa Arseneau (late Aquila) of Haute Aboujagane, three brothers: Ola (Dora) of Shediac, Ovide (Aline) and Bernard (Zena) both of Haute Aboujagane; five grandchildren: Mario, Christine, Janelle, Justin, Yanic; and by many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by his wife Maria (LeBlanc) Boudreau (1993), a son Maurice (2008), a half brother, Mélas Bourgeois and two half sisters: Edna Drisdelle and Rita LeBlanc.
The family will receive relatives and friends at Frenette Funeral Home Ltd., 396 Main St., Shediac (532-3297) on Friday, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday, from 10:30 a.m. until time of departure. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, April 16, 2011 at 12 noon at Sacré Coeur Roman Catholic Church, Haute Aboujagane. Interment in the parish cemetery.
