The death occurred peacefully surrounded by her loving family at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I., on Tuesday, July 11th, 2017 of Marie “Julie” Anne Paugh (nee Bernard) of Miscouche, aged 67 years. Julie was born in St. Philip, P.E.I. to her late parents, Cyrien and Catherine (nee Gallant) Bernard. Loving mother of Joyce Hughes (Don) of Tracadie Cross, Rhonda LeClair (Scott) of Freetown, Brad Paugh (Mary) of Searletown and Debbie Banks (Russell) of Summerside. Also lovingly remembered by her 8 grandchildren: Josh, Aaron, Darcy, Kaitlynn, Carrie, Daniel, Ash and Matthew, her 2 great-grandchildren Melissa and Aiden and many nieces and nephews. Survived by the following brothers and sisters: Eva Gallant (Wilfred), Therese Gallant, Claire Gallant (Tony), Rosella Gallant, Frank Bernard, Louise Bernard-Rushton (Percy) and Marcella Bernard. Besides her parents, Julie was predeceased by her brothers and sisters: Eric and Freddie Bernard, Mae Maddix (Leo), Doris Bernard and Dorise Bernard and brother-in-law Clifford Gallant. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Saturday, July 15th , then to St. John the Baptist Church, Miscouche for a funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment to take place in the church cemetery. Memorial donations in Julie’s memory to the Prince County Hospital Palliative Care Unit or to St. John the Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
