Passed away at his home in Milton, Ontario on March 19, 2017 following a courageous battle with cancer, Gerald Ignatius Nolan aged 71 years. Gerry grew up in Harbour Grace and moved to Ontario in 1965. Predeceased by his mother, Gertrude Nolan, his sister Catherine Mills and a special Aunt Margaret Hewitt. He leaves to mourn several cousins including Madonna, Dorothy and Irene Baird, members of the family of the late Michael and Dorothy Butt as well as special friends Mike and Trevor McGrath, Yvonne Hillier, Ruby Firth and Darryl Hennigar. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Joseph's Church, Riverhead Harbour Grace at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 18, 2017. Private inurnment in the Nolan family plot at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in St. John's.
