Geraldine Marie Livingstone

It is with broken hearts that we the family announce the passing of Geraldine Livingstone on March 19, 2017 at the Hawthorne Care Place.
Born in Glace Bay, she was the daughter of the late Urban J. Brown and Mary Dellie (Almon) Brown.
She enjoyed attending Mass weekly, playing bingo and cards, spending time with her family and watching John Wayne.
Geraldine is survived by her four sons, Michael, Barrie, Bernie, Toronto, Shaun (Nancy), Oshawa and Cordell (Amanda) Barrie; one daughter, Sheri, Glace Bay; brother, Gerard Brown, Glace Bay, sisters, Vivian (Tony) Miller, Toronto, Judith (Ken) Mugford, Toronto and Maria Brown, Toronto; 13 precious grandchildren and two wonderful great grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Brian J. Livingstone, formerly of Reserve Mines, and brothers, Sanford, Brian and Urban Brown.
Cremation has taken place. A visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Friday, July 28, 2017 at the T.J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialist, 370 Reserve St., Glace Bay, NS, 902-849-4199. A memorial service will follow at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Father Daniel Boudreau officiating. Burial to follow in St. Joseph’s Church Cemetery, MacLeod Rd.
