Aged 69 years.
Passed peacefully away at home on July 25/17 surrounded by his loving and devoted family. Predeceased by his parents Wilfred and Alice, brother Lorne, parents-in-law John and Bride Kent and brothers-in-law Kevin and Blair. Left to mourn and celebrate his life, his devoted wife of 45 years Barb, daughters Joanne (Scott), Jody and son Edward (Christine); the proud and joyful delights of his life Shae-Lynn, Joshua and Kade. Siblings Wilf (Ruth); John (Deb); Linda (Colin); Rosalie (Gus); Allan; Carol (Pierre); Rick; Ros; Les; Arlene (Derek); Andrea (Bernie); Bev (Ray). As well as extended family, nieces, nephews and a large circle of friends. Special thanks to one and all who contributed in any capacity to Dad's journey on earth and his final journey home, our family is forever grateful. Visitation at Pendergasts Funeral Home, Bell Island on Thursday 7-9, Friday 12-4 and 7-9. Funeral service at St. Michael's Church on Saturday July 29th at 11am, cremation to follow. Flowers gratefully accepted or donation made in Dad's memory to Bell Island Minor Hockey or the Wabana Boys and Girls Club.
