THERIAULT - Roy Joseph (83) passed away peacefully on July 19, 2017 in Yarmouth Regional Hospital with his wife, Mary, by his side.
Roy was born in Hectanooga on Feb. 19th, 1934 to the late Fred and Celeste (Saulnier) Theriault. He is survived by his wife, Mary; brothers, Harley (Loretta), Eddie (Hazel), Walter (Bernadette) and his sister Yvonne (Neil).
He is predeceased by both parents; brother, Desire; and sister, Lorraine.
Roy had three children; daughters Rose and Louise; and son, Benoit; a stepdaughter, Crystal; his grandchildren in marriage who affectionately referred to him as Papa T. They are Kenny, Nicholas, Tanner, Jordan, Raistlin, Talon and little Leland, his best buddy.
Roy worked in the woods for most of his life. He enjoyed working outdoors, tinkering with engines and getting his hands dirty. He loved to go fishing with Mary, who usually got the big one.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Meteghan Funeral Home. A celebration of his life was held in his home on Sunday, July 23.
