New Glasgow: Lincoln Cedric B. Cameron, age 97 of Autumn Crest Seniors, New Glasgow passed away on Tuesday July 25th, 2017 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow.
Born in New Glasgow he was a son of the late John George and Jessie Rose (MacNaughton) Cameron of Chance Harbour.
Lincoln was an employee of Cresent Jewelers of New Glasgow, Pictou and Truro, and for 40 years and prior to his retirement he was on staff of Charm Jewelers in New Glasgow.
He had been a member of the 2nd Battalion Pictou Highlanders Signal Corp. Headquarters Company. He was also a former director of Clan Cameron of Nova Scotia.
He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Surviving are grandnephew Fred (Beverly) Cameron, great-grandnephew Calin Cameron and great-grandniece Lesley Ann Cameron; grandniece Monica (Douglas) King.
He was predeceased by his parents, brothers George and Donald Frederick, nephew Donald Alonzo.
The family will receive visitors in the H.W. Angus Funeral Home from 1P.M. until 2 P.M. on Monday. From where a memorial service will be held from the funeral home chapel at 2 P.M. with Rev. Charles McPherson officiating. A reception will follow in the funeral home.
Family burial will be in Chance Harbour Cemetery at a later date.
Special thanks to Lincoln's friends at Autumn Crest for their support for the past number of years. The family would also like to thank the nurses and staff of Palliative Care and the Transition Care Units for the compassion and care given to Lincoln .
