Meadow McElravey

Meadow McElravey

Passed on: July 24th, 2017

With the heaviest of hearts we share that our most treasured and amazing Meadow was taken suddenly from our arms. Meadow leaves to mourn her Mom Trisha Healey (Ed); her Daddy Ian McElravey (Katera); Gramma Cheryle and Papa Rick Healey; Uncle Clayton and Auntie Daylene; Auntie Awesome and Uncle Aaron; Gramma Debbie McElravey; Auntie Jazmine; Uncle Shane; Uncle Mitchell; cousins, Kaylee, Kaiden, Mitch, Coby, Jess, Kaiden, Aven, Oaklyn, and Baby Noah; Great-Grandparents; as well as numerous extended family and friends. Our Meadow was wholesome, healthy, knowledgeable, and wise beyond her years. Her confident smile was infectious; she loved to make everyone laugh. Meadow’s presence simply had everyone’s attention. She made sure that everyone around her had a great time. When Meadow laughed it was with everything she had in her, truly pure laugh mixed with giggles. She took great pride and pleasure in helping everyone, especially if you needed a little first aide. Meadow loved making people feel better and nursing them back to health. Her favorite bedtime book was Anatomy of the Body. Meadow was an only child, but with all of her cousins, it was like she had nine brothers and sisters. She loved catching and releasing ladybugs, playing board games and cards, being in the water, riding her bike, playing at the park, blowing bubbles, telling jokes, pulling pranks, sleepovers at Gramma and Papa’s, dancing in the rain, massages, tuna sandwiches, mac and cheese, poutine, cheese sticks, and watermelon. But, most of all, she loved to spend time with her family. A true animal lover, Meadow was all smiles when she told people “I have two dogs, two ferrets, two cats, one bunny and a bunch of fish!” She was present in every moment and took pleasure in the little things, smelling flowers, the first bite of fresh cut watermelon, and long hugs. We are beyond blessed to have had Meadow in our lives. She was a small little girl that made such a huge impact on the world. She filled our hearts with pure, sweet, unconditional love. We are forever grateful that we have had 7 years and 11 months with her. Each memory is filled with love and happiness. We are thankful that Meadow gifted that to us.
Meadow, we love you bigger than the whole entire universe, you are always and forever loved and never ever forgotten xoxoxoxo
Meadow’s family would like to thank all of the amazing souls for their efforts at the scene of the accident, the General Hospital staff, Meadow’s daycare, the Town of Grand Coulee, The City of Moose Jaw, the overwhelming support from friends and family, as well as the countless strangers who selflessly helped us during this difficult time. Special thank you to Kala and Jodie from the General, Lincoln and Dee from Last Mountain Timber, Wade from Low Cost Upholstery, as well as Sheena and Jen. We will forever love all of you.
