Kathleen (Kay) Doris Lawrence
April 14, 1950 – July 29, 2017

On Saturday July 29, 2017 our lives were forever changed when our special sister Kay left this earth to be reunited with our mom and dad Wallace and Lucy Lawrence, her brothers Les and Stan, sister Violet Strickland, and her brother in law Jim Patey. Leaving to mourn with many precious memories are her brothers and sisters; George (Cora) Lawrence, Laura (Jim) Drake, Tom Lawrence (Pauline) all of Port aux Basques, Sadie Vatcher Prince Rupert BC, Albie Lawrence, Jeannie (David) Anderson all of Port aux Basques, Maggie Patey P.E.I., Graham (Angela) Lawrence Port aux Basques. Her only Godson, David Anderson, sister in law Diane Lawrence both of Port aux Basques and a large circle of nieces, nephews, neighbours and many friends. Visitation took place on Monday and Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at East Haven Funeral Home. Funeral services took place on Wednesday August 2, 2 pm at the Salvation Army Citadel, Grand Bay, officiated by Maurice Collins. Internment followed at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Trans Canada Highway. Flowers are graciously accepted or donations can be made to the family.
