Audrey passed peacefully away at her home in St. John's in the presence of her loving family after a lengthy battle with cancer at age 64. She was predeceased by her parents Stanley and Gladys Curtis of Twillingate and parents-in-law Gerald and Corinne Mercer of Gander. Leaving to mourn their loss are husband Arthur, two daughters: Penny and Alison of St. John's, two sisters: Marlene McCarty of North Bay and Bonnie Curtis of Toronto, and her precious granddaughter Carmella. Also many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Audrey was born and raised in Twillingate and resided there in later years. She also resided in Toronto, Grand Bank, Baine Harbour, Bay L'Argent, Gander, and spent the past 12 years in St. John's. As she wished there was no viewing or funeral service and cremation has taken place. Donations to the SPCA in Audrey's name would be appreciated.
