Our loving mother, Esther Marie (Jackman) Power has passed away with her three children around her on December 10, 2016 in Calgary, AB at the age of 86 years. Born in St. John's, NL she grew up on 36 Pleasant Street. She is predeceased by her parents and five brothers and one sister. Left with wonderful memories that will be cherished are Arlene Power, Andrew (Claudia) Butterfield, Simon Butterfield, (Ashley, Dominic) Moreau and Emily (Mamre) Newton, Jacqueline (Randell) Richard, Amanda Nicol (Carl Pope), Matthew (Mary Rose) Richard, Michael Power (Jill Quinn), Falon Quinn and 10 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and friends. Full service Mass will be held at St. Patrick's Church at 9:30 am on August 30, 2017, burial at Mount Carmel Cemetery. Reception following at Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 1 on Blackmarsh Road.
