ROBERTS, Chad Matthew – age 30, of Argyle Head, Yarmouth Co., N.S.; it is with great sadness, we announce the sudden passing of Chad on August 3, 2017. Born in Yarmouth on October 18, 1986 he was the son of Susan Roberts (Tim Nickerson) and Dale Roberts and brother to Dyson (Tracey). Chad was a loving and proud father to his son, Benjamin and will be sadly missed by his girlfriend Laura Jeddry and her children Chailey, Devin and Morgan. He is also survived by niece, Brianne; nephew, Jaxon; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Chad touched everyone’s heart with his kind and loving manner and was known for his generosity and willingness to help anyone in need. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents Donald (Gloria) Roberts and Esther (Tony) Bourque; and maternal grandparents, Clarence and Charlotte Muise. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth. Visitation was held Monday August 7, 2017 from 7-9 p.m. in Sweeny’s Funeral Home Chapel. A funeral service was held Tuesday August 8, 2017 at 11 a.m., Father Albeni d’Entremont officiated from Ste. Anne’s Church, Ste. Anne du Ruisseau. Interment followed in the parish cemetery. A reception followed at Le Club Acadien. Donations in Chad’s memory may be made to the Nova Scotia Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice.
