Passed peacefully away on Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at Chancellor Park Home, Dorothy "Dot" Breen, age 94 years. Predeceased by husband, Matthew Cyril Breen (October 16, 2008); and her parents, Jim and Amelia Newell. Leaving to mourn her sister, Florence Nivens (Branson, MO, USA); nieces: Jean Brown (AB), Linda North (St. John's), Barbara Hierlihy (Jim) (St. John's), Patricia Mulrooney (Joe) (St. John's), Betty Breen (St. John's), Cheryl Breen (St. John's), Ruth O'Mara Mooney (St. John's), Judy Richardson (ON), Joan Shea (Chris) (FL, USA); nephews: Frank (Melody) Nivens (MO, USA), Jimmy (Becky) Nivens (MO, USA), Gary (Jo Anne) Barfitt (NB), Eric (Jean) Martin (AB); cousin, Christine Grandy (caregiver); as well as extended family and a circle of friends.
