Murdock is survived by his loving wife of 43 years Joanne (Walsh); son, Christopher (Renata); daughter, Tracey (Shawn); grandchildren, Katelynn, Matthew, Emily, Christopher and Loagen; brothers and sisters, John, Blair, Brenda (Frankie), Gail (Tommy) and Wayne who will miss him dearly. He is predeceased by his parents, mother-in-law, Roseanne Mason; brothers-in-law, Mickey, Frankie, Stewart, Dennis, Carson and sister-in-law, Rosie. Junior worked at the Sydney Steel Plant for over 30 years, then after retirement travelled to Alberta and worked as a pipefitter. He was an honorary member of the KOC in New Waterford and enjoyed stopping in for a drink and a laugh or two. Junior was an avid outdoorsman; loved making trips to Gabarus hunting and fishing accompanied by his son-in-law, Shawn; buddies Kenny, Dinx and Keith. In the early years he enjoyed hunting and fishing with his two brothers-in-law Stewart and Frankie and his trips with Gerard to Lake Ainslie and the many tarabish games with good friend, Wayne. He also enjoyed his many fishing trips with his son, Chris and grandsons, Christopher and Loagen as well as heading to the track with his son-in-law, Shawn.
