It is with deep sadness and profound regret that the family of Mona Monica Roberts announce her passing at Bonne Bay Health Centre on Thursday, the 10th of August, 2017 at the age of 63 years. She will be lovingly remembered and eternally missed by Malcolm, her husband of 46 years, her children; Robin (Lisa), Michelle, and Jay (Stephanie) as well as by her grandchildren; Keira Felton, Kelsey Roberts, Adam Soares, John William Roberts, Susannah Roberts and step-granddaughter Sara Payne. Born to parents Michael Gorwyn Hewlin and Gwendolyn Pola Major on April 7th, 1954, Mona's passing will also be mourned by siblings; Milton Hewlin (Caroline), Clarise Hewlin, Sharon Butt (Gary), Diane Hewlin (John) and Michael Hewlin (Trudy). She will also be missed by her many In-Laws, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces, Nephews and by a wide circle of family and friends. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at St. Alban's Anglican Church in Sally's Cove at a future date.
