Beulah Gladys Delaney
September 16, 1926 – August 5, 2017
It is with deep regret that the family announce the passing of Beulah Gladys Delaney on August 5, 2017 at the St. Joseph’s Hospice in London, Ontario. She was 90 years old.
Beulah was predeceased by Ira her husband of 41 years; her parents, Daisy and Rollie Phinney and a grandson, Brent. She is survived by her daughter Cheryl (George) White, son Larry (Lorna) Delaney, grandsons Carey White and Jeff (Ellen) White, great granddaughter, Caleigh White and great grandsons, Kian White and Wyatt White. She is survived by her sister, Ramona Cook and many nieces and nephews. Beulah leaves behind her good friend and RV travel companion, Carson Sears and his family.
Beulah was loved by everyone who ever met her. And, she loved them back. She taught us all to love each other with open hearts.
Once Beulah got the love of traveling, nothing could stop her. She was always ready for a quick getaway or travel to interesting locations. She visited Ireland, New Zealand and even took two Caribbean cruises. She loved trips to the US, with Hawaii, Texas, California and Pennsylvania being her favorite locations. But, Beulah’s true love was her family. There were many family celebrations and get togethers that meant everything to her. She was the first to offer to bring her family favorite “Date Squares”.
Service arrangements have been entrusted to the Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge St, Sackville, N.B. (506-364-1300). The funeral was held on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at 2 PM. Pastor Andrew Swanson officiated. Visitation was held on Friday, August 11, 2017 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Burial followed the funeral service in the Sackville Cemetery.
For family and friends, expressions of sympathy or a donation made to St. Joseph’s Hospice in London or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
