Suddenly in Alberta, by work accident, the passing of Steven Michael Rowe age 29, of Sturgeon, formerly of NFLD, loving husband to Amber Johnston occurred on Thursday, August 10, 2017. Born October 5, 1987 in Ship Cove, NFLD, Steven is the son of Rona Rowe and Ron Cormier, and step son to Noah Garnhum and Howard Gushue. Steven is survived by his cherished boys Bentley Steven and Blake Gordon Rowe both at home; brothers Noah and John Garnhum; brothers and sister-in-law Coady, Mitchell and Brittany Johnston; several aunts, uncles and cousins in P.E.I. and NFLD; father and mother-in-law Billy and Roma (Heron) Johnston; Paternal grandparents Everett and Verna (Mellish) Garnhum; grandmother-in-law Joyce (MacLeod) Johnston; predeceased by maternal grandparents Jerome and Alice (Wheeler) Rowe. Steven will be greatly missed by his family, and many friends who came to know him from province to province all over Canada. Resting at Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home, with visiting on Friday, August 18, 2017 from 5 to 8 pm. Funeral Service to be held on Saturday, August 19, at 2:00 pm, from the Funeral Home Chapel.
