The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I., on Friday, August 18th, 2017 of Eugene Paul Gallant of Summerside, aged 80 years. Eugene was born in Charlottetown, P.E.I. to the late Robert and Rose Gallant. Beloved husband of Camilla (nee Richards) Gallant. Father of Pattie Defoue. Survived by his sister Marg Gallant and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Eugene was predeceased by his brothers and sisters. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside. By personal request there will be no visiting hours or funeral service held. Interment to take place in St. Paul’s Cemetery at a later date. Memorial donations in Eugene’s memory to P.E.I. Lung Association would be greatly appreciated.
