The family of Neil Arthur Brownell age 83 of Amherst Shore are deeply saddened to announce his passing on Saturday, August 19, 2017 in the North Cumberland Memorial Hospital, Pugwash.
Born at Amherst Shore, he was the son of the late Percy and Verda (Chapman) Brownell.
Neil enjoyed working out in his garage and having family and friends stop in for a visit.
Neil will missed by his wife of 58 years, Dora (Letcher); daughter Sylvia (Vaughn) Jamieson; grandchildren Jennifer, Jaclyn (Jeremy Briggs) and Mitchell (Lauren Innes); great grandchildren Caleb, Liam, Ryan and Emily.
Following Neil’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or service.
A private interment will take place in the Lorneville Cemetery.
A celebration of Neil’s life will be held at a later date.
Donations can be made in Neil’s memory to the Lorneville United Church.
