Douglas "Doug" Wayne Miller
The death occurred peacefully with family by his side at Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on Monday, August 21st, 2017 of Douglas “Doug” Wayne Miller of Lot 16, aged 67 years. Doug was born in Summerside, P.E.I. to the late William and Jean (nee Curtis) Miller. Beloved husband of Ruth (nee Betton) Miller and loving father of Debbie Miller (Kevin Lucas) and Billy (Kirsten MacCallum). Grampie to his special little granddaughter Lila June Miller. Survived by his brothers and sisters in-law Edith (Allison) MacLean, Bob (Gail deceased) Betton and several nieces and nephews. Doug was predeceased by his stepmother Ella Miller. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Friday, August 25th, then to Lot 16 United Church, Lot 16 for a funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Memorial donations in Doug’s memory to the Prince County Hospital Foundation or Lot 16 United Church would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours will take place on Thursday evening from 6 – 9 p.m. in the Lot 16 United Church, 1184 Route 12, Lot 16.
