It is with great sadness that we, the family of Wes Pardy, announce his passing in Halifax on August 27, 2017. He was the son of the late Thomas and Kay (Drover) Pardy.
Wes owned and operated the Ashby Irving for 23 years, and owned his own trucking business. In his spare time, he greatly enjoyed fishing, antiquing, woodworking and hunting.
He is survived by loving wife, Ducy of 57 years; son, Neil, and siblings Peggy, Judy, Gerry, Debbie, Tom and Nancy.
Besides his parents, Wes is predeceased by his brother, Steve.
Visitation will take place on Thursday, August 31 from 1-4 p.m. at S.W. Chant and Son Funeral Home, located at 564 Alexandra St., Sydney. A celebration of his life will follow at 4 p.m. in the funeral home chapel, with Rev. Sheldon Chant to officiate.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Wes’ memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
