Passed peacefully away at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Center on Monday August 21, 2017 Patrick Joseph Hackett of English Harbour East age 93 years. Leaving to mourn with loving memories sons Michael of St. John's and Wyman (Lori) of English Harbour East; daughters Margaret Peters (Douglas) of English Harbour East, Judy Hickey (Michael) of Grand Le Pierre, Sharon Hickey (Ivan) of English Harbour East and Cathy Hackett of English Harbour East; 11 Grandchildren; 12 Great Grandchildren; sister Greta Emmennegger (Sonny); special nieces and nephews plus a large circle of other family and friends.
Predeceased by parents Philomena and Michael, wife Theresa, daughter baby Ada, sisters Martha, Theresa, Margaret, Hannah, brother Francis.

Father John Evans Archin officiated Funeral mass took place on Friday August 25, 2017 from St. Anne's RC Parish Church, English Harbour East with interment following at RC Cemetery, English Harbour East.
Pall Bearers were is his grandsons Pat Peters, Jamie Peters, Donnie Peters, Trevor Peters, Sheldon Hickey, Norman Freeborn.
Cross Bearer was his great-grandson Douglas Freeborn.
