He was dedicated, loyal and totally committed to his family, church and community. A life-long member of Bethany United Church, he served as an Elder for over 50 years, was clerk of session and superintendent of Sunday school; a loyal supporter of the Canadian Bible Society and member of Gladstone Lodge No. 89 and Jewel Lodge No. 42 Antigonish.
