At the Palliative Care Unit of the Prince County Hospital in Summerside on Sunday, April 17, 2011, of Wilfred (Bill) Croken of Emerald, age 54 years. Much loved and devoted son of Elaine Croken-McCourt (nee Hammill) and the late Pius Croken. Survived by brothers Alfred (Louise), Long Creek; Danny, Freetown; Leonard, Edmonton, Alta.; Elmer, Emerald; Paul (Heather), Emerald and sister-in-law Una, Hampshire. Also remembered by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Predeceased by brothers Ronald and Robert, father Pius Croken and stepfather Lloyd McCourt. Resting at Lawless Funeral Home, Kinkora. for visitation Wednesday, April 20, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Thursday, April 21, at 10:30 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church, Summerfield. Donations may be made to the Prince County Hospital Palliative Care Unit or the St. James Cemetery Fund.
