It is with heavy hearts that the families of Julia Patience Blanchard nee Burden announce her sudden passing at the Miller Centre, St. John's, NL, on Saturday, September 9th, 2017 at the age of 78 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband of 62 years Harold Blanchard, her sons; Keith (Peggy), Daniel (Debbie), and Bradley (Diane), her grandchildren; Tracy Blanchard, Jillian Blanchard (Dave Hunt), Michael (Patricia) Blanchard, Tara (Craig) Payne, and Jesse Middleton, her great-grandchildren; Mila Connolly, Lucas Hunt, Makayla Blanchard, Chase Blanchard, Koltyn Payne, and Caleb Payne, her step-brother; Augustus Burden, mother was predeceased by her parents; Heman and Hannah Burden, and step-father; Clyde Burden, and mother and father-in-law; Elma and Steward Blanchard. Also leaving to mourn a large circle of family and friends. The family will be receiving family and friends at the Church of the Epiphany, in Woody Pt., NL, on Tuesday, September 12th, 2017 from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 pm, where also the Memorial service will take from on Wednesday, September 13th, 2017 at 2:00 pm, with Canon Terry Rose officiating.
