CAMERON, Robert Brian -80, of Three Brooks, Pictou County, passed away September 10, 2017 at home. Born in Three Brooks, he was a son of the late Donald & Katherine (McCara) Cameron. Bob was a 35 year employee of HMC Dockyard, Halifax. He liked to spend time with his family, and also enjoyed hunting and fishing. Bob was an animal lover and was known for his ability welding anything that needed fixing. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, June (MacLeod); son, Gary (Sharron Anne), Three Brooks; daughters, Lynn (Keith Laidig) Cameron, Three Brooks and Beth (Allan Fuchs) Cameron, Surrey, BC; grandchildren, Sarah Dawn, Colton and Justin Cameron, Cameron Fuchs; sister, Peggy Hawboldt, Millsville. Bob was predeceased by son, Donald; sister, Marie Murphy; and brothers, McCara, George, Forman, Jim & John. Visitation will be held 2-4 & 7-9 PM Wednesday in the McLaren Funeral Home, Pictou. A private family graveside service will be held in the Auburn Cemetery, Westville, with Rev. Mary-Beth Moriarity officiating. Family flowers only please.
