After several valiant battles against recurring pneumonia, Kathie is at peace. She was predeceased by her dear husband Ray Guy and her parents Harry and Louise Housser. Kathie is survived by her beloved daughters Rachel Housser-Guy and Annie Guy, whom she was very proud; her brothers Bruce (Barb), Steve (Anne) and John (Rosemary). She was a former CBC journalist and network television producer in St. John's, NL. At age 60 Kathie returned to university to get her Masters in English. She was fiercely articulate, intelligent with a sharp wit, and an ardent feminist almost from the day she was born in Port Alberni, BC. Kathie was proud of her west coast roots and adopted home of St. John's. Despite time and distance "Kate" was connected and loyal to friends from coast to coast. No Visitation.
