Our heartfelt thanks are extended to all those who have shown support during the recent loss of our mother Afra C. McVicar. Thank you to all of those who attended the visitation and interment and to all of those whose thoughts were with us. Thank you to all who sent food to our families, who sent cards and notes of sympathy, Mass cards, to those who sent emails to our various family members and to all those who made contributions to the favored charities for our mother. A special thank you to Dr. Carol Critchley and to Dawn MacLaine and the staffs of Ward 4B and the Palliative Care Unit at the CB Regional Hospital. To Father Lamey of St. Theresa’s Parish, Annette Coffin (Vocalist), Flo Sampson (Pianist) and the Choir of St. Theresa’s Parish; thank you for your efforts to bring light and closure, to our family during a difficult time. To T.W. Curry Funeral Chapel, we want to thank you and the staff for your kindness, compassion and professionalism.
We are truly grateful for all who contributed to Mom’s final farewell.
