Obituary
GAIL MARGARET GREEN
December 6, 1969 – September 7, 2017

So many special things remind us of you, your smile, your laughter, your unconditional love were precious gifts given to you from God above. The loving mother, daughter, sister, and most of all friend are the memories that we will take with us in all of our hearts and our memories are treasures with which we will never part. Your journey was hard, you were brave and strong, you fought so hard to keep holding on, your body was tired, you needed to rest and in Gods garden are only the best. On Thursday, September 7, 2017 our lives would be forever changed when Gail Margaret Green passed peacefully away surrounded by her loving family at the QE II in Halifax at the age of 47 years. Gail was predeceased by her father Charlie Green, grandparents Harriet and George Green and Selena and Emmanuel Osmond. Leaving to mourn with many fond and precious memories are her children Bailey and Benjamin Osmond and their father Victor Osmond, her devoted mother Florence Green who stood by her side through her entire illness not leaving her for one minute. She will forever remain in the hearts of her only sister Georgina Short (Justin Short), and only brother Glenn Green (Cindy). The best aunt in the world, Aunt Gee will be sadly missed by her niece Charley Green, nephews Ross Green and Cole Short who adored her and she them, and a large circle of aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and many friends. Gail was a devoted mother and friend, she was very involved in her kids lives from countless hours of volunteering at their schools, to teaching Sunday school and just being the best mom to her kids that she could be and a wonderful friend to all. In keeping with Gail's wishes cremation has taken place. The family received family and friends on Tuesday, September 12, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at East Haven Funeral Home Inc. A celebration of Gail's life took place on Wednesday, September 13, 2 p.m. at St. James Anglican Church, Channel officiated by Rev. Marlene Harvey and Gail's close friend Deacon Jane Morris. Interment will follow at a later date. Flowers graciously accepted or donations in memory of Gail can be made to the family.
