It is with heavy hearts today that the family of Margaret Ann Brinston announce her sudden passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Saturday, September 16, 2017, surrounded by her loving family. She is reunited with her loving husband and the love of her life, Gordon Henry Brinston, who predeceased her in March 2013. Predeceased by her parents Effie and John Brake; brothers: Frank and Joe; mother and father-in-law Alvina and George Brinston. She leaves to mourn her three children, who will forever cherish her memory: son Gordie Brinston (Tammy) and daughters Sheri Brinston and Shelley Hynes (Aaron); her very special grandchildren, whom meant the world to her and she was extremely proud of: Jess (Matt), Shelby (Robert), Philip (Whitney), Dylan (Michelle) and Emily; great-grandsons: Jackson James, Hudson Alexander and Philip Gordon; her siblings: Maureen (Edwin) Rolfe, Ben (Nonie) Brake, Geraldine (Bryan) Meaney, Sheila (Ray) Sheppard, Gary (Sherry) Brake, Greg (Joy) Brake, Shannon (Sean) King, Sean (Lori) Brake; her very special brother Jim; special brother and sister-in-law Isaac and Jubilee Brinston; her very special nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, who all adored her - each and every one meant the world to her, as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends. In keeping with Margaret's wishes, cremation has taken place. Friends may visit Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Monday, between the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will take place on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at 2 p.m. from the Country Haven Funeral Chapel, officiated by Reverend Wendy Lowden. Interment will follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
