Joyce Blanche Legere
Joyce Blanche Legere, 80 years, of Springhill, passed away at her home after suffering the loneliness of a broken heart and the pain and suffering involved with Rheumatoid Arthritis and Cancer. Daughter of the late George and Lillian (Boss) Alderson.
After retiring, she and Jim loved traveling in their motor home seeing much of North America eventually settling to become winter Texans. They were proud discount travelers, bargain hunters and yard salers.
A loving wife, mother and grandmother, she had the outstanding ability to assume the role of whom ever we needed her to be with unlimited amount of understanding, compassion and stamina.
A nurturer, counselor, care giver, friend, confidant, peace keeper, chief cook and bottle washer.
She will be dearly missed by children, Debbie, Fran and Jimbo and Dru; grandchildren, Ali, Adam, Christopher, Samantha, Stephanie and Alicia; many, many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Jim, sister, Joan; brothers, Tiny and Bob.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of A H Brown Funeral Home, 5 McFarlane Street, Springhill, (902 597 2361). There will be no services by request. Burial will take place at a later date in North Street Roman Catholic Cemetery, Springhill.
The family would like to thank the medical professionals, Doctors, VON, local Pharmachoice staff and Emergency Responders. Huge thanks to her and our friends, always there in good times and bad.
