Passed away peacefully at the Health Sciences Centre on Tuesday, September 19, 2017, Daphne Ann Hayes, age 53 years. Daphne was born July 18, 1964 to Gerald and Helen McGrath. Predeceased by her parents and brother Gerald. Leaving to mourn her loving and devoted husband John; brother Jim (Jackie) and sister Helen Marie Holloway (Danny); one niece Ashley McGrath and two nephews Gerald Holloway and Jimmy McGrath; very dear aunt Vera Warford; mother and father- in-law Thomas and Marcella Hayes and a large number of cousins. Many thanks to Daphne's brother-in-law Steven Hayes and Daphne's sister-in-law Betty Hayes-Brewer (John Gentry) for all their help during Daphne's illness. As per Daphne's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation. Funeral Mass will take place on Friday, September 22, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. from St. Teresa's Church, Mundy Pond Road. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Liver Foundation.
