The family of Mary Cornett (Zugay) wish to announce her passing on September 25, 2017 at Glen Haven Manor.

Born in Glace Bay, and raised in Westville, she was a daughter of the late Angelina and Felix Zugay.

She is survived by her son Hector “Dusty” MacKinnon (Romaine), Salt Springs; daughter Ann Marie Boates, Westville; sisters, Vonda Crossman (Charles), Alberta, Angie Stewart (Charles), Stellarton, and Beatrice Rice, Stellarton; brothers Charles (Helen), Stellarton and Johnny Zugay, Westville. Mary also has 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren and lots of nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was predeceased by her parents; husband Arthur Stanley Cornett; sisters Edna Weeks (William) and Helen Zugay; one brother Victor Zugay and one great-grandchild, Kaiden Boates.

There will be no visiting or funeral service at her request. The family would like to thank all involved in Mary’s care, especially all the staff at “Whispering Tides” section of Glen Haven Manor. www.eaglesfuneralhome.ca
