ANNIE DOMINIE
June 8, 1944 – September 6, 2017

It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, and sister, Annie Dominie at the Dartmouth General Hospital on Wednesday, September 6th, 2017 at the age of 73 years. Annie was the daughter of the late Edward and Mildred Billard. She was predeceased by her loving husband, George Dominie, her brother Gordon Billard, and her brother in laws Max Dutot and Albert Bungay.

Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of precious memories are her children, David Dominie (Maggie Pereira) of Dartmouth, NS, Tony Dominie of Tompkins, NL and Denise (Jeff) Roberts of Dartmouth, NS. She will forever remain in the hearts of her grandchildren, Luke Dominie, Josh Roberts and Julia Roberts. She is survived by sisters Grace (Keith Allen) Savoury, Josephine (Kevin) Forward, Dora (Don) Skeard, Margaret (John) Snow and brother Ed (Ruth) Billard, as well as brothers in law Frank (Honour) Dominie of Botwood, and Wayne (Marilyn) Dominie of Port aux Basques, and her sisters in law, Marie Billard, Norma Dutot, and Alice Bungay, all of Port aux Basques. She also leaves to mourn a wide circle of nieces, nephews, and others who loved her deeply.

For those blessed to have had her in their lives, she will always be remembered for having an open door to anyone in need or just passing by, her legendary turkey dinners, her hard work and great sense of humour. She will be forever loved and deeply missed.

Visitation took place on Saturday, September 9th from 3-7 p.m. at East Haven Funeral Home Inc., 57 Grand Bay Rd. Port aux Basques, NL. The funeral took place on Sunday, September 10th at 2 p.m. at St. Paul's Anglican Church, Grand Bay, officiated by Rev. Harold Harvey. Committal and interment services took place at St. Paul's Cemetery.
