JOHN C. OSMOND (JACK)
February 17, 1930 – September 22, 2017

It is with great sadness that the family of the late John C. Osmond announces his passing on Friday, September 22, 2017 in St. John's at the age of 87 years. John was the son of the late Emanuel and Selena Osmond, he was also predeceased by his son Michael on November 3, 1958, father and mother in law William and Jessie Seymour, brothers Cecil Osmond, Wilson Osmond, Stanley Osmond, sisters Vera Skinner, Rebecca Lomond, Mildred Taylor, sisters in law Hilda Seymour, Sarah Seymour, Marie Herritt, Winnie Roberts. Leaving to mourn with many fond and precious memories his loving and devoted wife Hazel (nee Seymour) of 62 years. A proud father he will be sadly missed by his children Roger (Sandra), Leslie (Connie), Jerry (Debbie), Jacqueline (David) Grant, Keith (Connie), Junior (Patsy), Pauline (David) Legge, Pat (Tanya). He will also remain in the hearts of his 19 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. He will also be fondly remembered by his brother Malcolm (Rita), sisters Florence Green, Beatrice (Bill) Bryne, Julia Perry, Pauline (Ted) Devoe, sisters and brothers in law; Joan Osmond, Clyde Herritt, Albert (Gladys) Seymour, Norman (Susie) Seymour, Philip Seymour, Israel Seymour, Wilson Seymour, Marilyn (Wayne) Dominie, Frances (Art) Lomond, daughter in law Beatrice Osmond, great friends Frederick Chaulk, Norm Noseworthy, Diane MacDonald, David Jesso and a large circle of nieces, nephews and many friends. In keeping with Jack's wishes cremation has taken place. The family received friends and family on Wednesday, September 27, from 2-4 p.m. at East Haven Funeral Home, followed by a private family service officiated by Rev. Jane Allen.
