The death occurred at Prince County Hospital, Summerside on Monday, October 2, 2017 of Hughie Benjamin Pye, of Enmore, aged 69 years, loving boyfriend of Lillian Wagner. Born in Mount Pleasant on April 9, 1948, son of the late Harris and Mabel (Bridges) Pye. Loving father to Crystal (Clifford) Gallant, Summerside; Adam (Brenda) Pye, Calgary, AB; Matt Hugh Pye, Calgary, AB; Holly Brewer (Al), Fredericton, N.B.; Benjamin Brewer, Fredericton, N.B. and Jessica Brewer (Cody), Fredericton, N.B. Dear Grampie to 10 grandchildren. Hughie is also survived by brothers Edward Campbell, Wellington; Minor (Sandra) Campbell, Dunblane and Leslie Campbell, Summerside. Predeceased by his parents, step father Reginald Campbell, brothers Nelson and Loman and sister Eleanor Bulger. Resting at Ferguson Tyne Valley Funeral Chapel with visiting hours on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral will be held on Friday in the Chapel at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in People’s Cemetery, Victoria West.
